there is life after death, the first question is...
what's it like? Here on earth we use tools and everyone
has lot's of them. A house is a tool to keep to keep us
dry and warm so are cloths. Cars and airplanes are tools
to get us from one place to another. A telephone is a
communication tool, so is a computer and a TV.
Everything you own is a tool of one kind or another...
human beings are a tool using creature. If you've ever
had to move to a new house or apartment as I'm sure you
have, you were probably amazed at all the tools
you had accumulated.
The point is, do you make and use tools on the higher
planes? After all, tools virtually defined us in the
physical universe. For many people tools were a symbol
of status, wealth and well being, not just instruments
of survival. The following is a discussion of what life
is like on the higher planes for a tool using creature
such as us humans.
Ok, lets suppose that you've recently died and
found yourself still alive but in a new and different environment in
the astral (or higher) plane. You would find that people still use
tools such as cloths, hats, houses and buildings. People are
creatures of habit so people in the astral often still use tools
even though they don't need them. Many of the problems and violence
so prevalent on earth are caused by people needing and wanting tools
or the land and resources to make tools.
You would also find that you have many more
freedoms and that your senses are increased, for instance you would
be able to see more colors than you see on earth. Your mind would be
clearer and more able to understand, reason and calculate.
Communication is done telepathically although you may think you are
talking.
You would notice that your body does not
suffer from cold or heat or disease and that you can travel slowly
or very fast in three dimensions (similar to being able to fly) You
could also still walk of course. If you were handicapped or were
blind on earth, in the astral these problems would be gone.
What might come to mind is "will I meet
people that I hate?" The answer is you don't seem to, you meet
friends and relatives, you can even meet people who are indifferent
to you, but you don't meet people that you hate.
It's very important to realize that in the
astral and higher planes you can unconsciously use matter to create
things such as tools even scenery and they are very real but the
astral also has its own scenery. You often create thought forms
which can take the form of just about everything. Your emotional
state is important in causing you to create different thought forms
and scenery - all this will be very real to you. People that you
meet will be as solid as they are here on earth even though, to a
person on earth they and you will be as a ghost.
You may think "can I visit people on earth?"
or could I spy on them?" The answer is you can see them but if you
try to spy on them or invade their privacy, you will find that you
start seeing thought forms - you will say to yourself "I know what I
am seeing is not what I should see ". In other words your higher
self will stop your attempts to spy.
Eating can still be done but you will find that you don't really
need food and you also still need sleep - this is where you obtain
the energy to sustain being conscious.
