Faith healing usually involves the healer “putting hands” on the patient, but this is not always the case. Some faith healers have the ability to put their audience into a trance, particularly if their audience is predisposed to them ahead of time. Most people use faith healing when they have an incurable disease but lots of others use it to cure just about any health problem. The question is, does faith healing work or not? The answer is no amount of faith healing will cure a rotten tooth or bad eyesight or a broken leg. But if you let emotions such as guilt, fear, anger, resentment or depression dominate your thoughts, you will lead the way for diseases. Most of any healing that does occur when people visit faith healers is done by their own subconscious. Bad habits such as smoking, alcoholism, doing drugs, overeating, lack of exercise, procrastination, laziness and the accompanying stress that’s usually present with these activities can cause a lot of different diseases. An amazing number of people look at horoscopes daily newspapers and magazines - but is their any truth to them? It may be that any truth to these horoscopes comes from your subconscious making things happen. However a personalized horoscope done by an astrologer may have more relevance but also may owe their  accuracy to telepathy or extra sensory perception on behalf of the astrologer who creates it. There has been  both positive and negative connotations with regard to the use Ouija Boards. Some say that using them leaves the user open to being influenced by evil demons or spirits and others say they can open the door to contact with the dead or with dead friends or relatives. Basically a Ouija Board is a board with letters of the alphabet on it and one or more players place their fingers lightly on an upturned wine glass or coin placed on the board. A spirit (usually a dead friend or relative) is summoned and is asked questions and the upturned wine glass or coin is moved around the board until it comes to rest on a letter, the letter is then recorded. The procedure is repeated and it is noted if a coherent message is created from each question. By the way Jane Roberts started communicating with the Seth entity using a ouija board. Probably the first thing that comes to mind is what does Paranormal mean and what does it encompass? It has been described as “any phenomenon that exceeds the limits of what is deemed physically possible according to our present scientific understanding”. It includes ESP, telepathy, the existence of ghosts and reincarnation, astral projection, UFO’s and the existence of Bigfoot and Sea Serpents. The paranormal also encompasses astrology, the aura, clairvoyance, channeling, dowsing, faith healing, levitation, precognition, prophecy,  psychokinesis and psychometry. Paranormal certainly covers a wide range of topics - take a moment and give us your comments. 

Some people believe in ghosts and some don’t, but the fundamental questions are do they exist and if so what are they and how and why do they appear? Other questions are why do they haunt a particular location, what exactly do they look like and where do they come from? Another question is why do they haunt some locations for years even centuries. Some ghosts are malevolent, some appear to be disembodied souls who are lost or confused others seem to be persons who died a violent death and are reliving their deaths over and over. There are lots questions and lots of different answers. Your comments would be welcome.

Is there  any scientific basis for paranormal  events such as out-of-body experiences, reincarnation, ghosts, life after death, faith healing, predicting the future or any other supernatural happenings? Well, it all seems to hinge on whether or not such a place as the astral plane and/or higher dimensions could exist as this is where many paranormal events appear to originate. Interestingly enough the study of cosmology, higher dimensions, time travel and string theory shows remarkable behavoral similarities to the astral and higher planes. Predictions have been a part of  the human experience since the beginning of time. Some have been amazingly accurate and some completely wrong. From Bible prophecy to Edgar Cayce to Nostradamus to a host of lesser known people, predicting the future seems to be an obsession with the human race. Some prophecy comes through dreams, some during near death experiences, some from a trance, some from out-of-body experiences, some from from gazing at water or crystal balls …there seems endless ways to see the future. Between 1963 and 1984 an entity called Seth communicated through Jane Roberts. Jane Roberts and her husband recorded these communications and produced a number of books called the Seth Material. This material is very advanced and takes many readings to understand and get the full benefit of it’s teachings. In fact, the more advanced you are in spiritualism, the occult and supernatural, the more you seem to get out of studying the Seth Material. The Seth Material also has an enormous amount of substance for those with an open mind who are involved in science and cosmology. It covers the topics of parallel and probable universes as well as new ideas on the subjects of time, dimensions, the structure of matter and astral projection to mention only a few. If there is life after death, the first question is… what’s it like? Here on earth we use tools and everyone has lot’s of them. A house is a tool to keep to keep us dry and warm so are cloths. Cars and airplanes are tools to get us from one place to another. A telephone is a communication tool, so is a computer and a TV.  Everything you own is a tool of one kind or another… human beings are a tool using creature. If you’ve ever had to move to a new house or apartment as I’m sure you have,  you were probably amazed at all the tools you had accumulated. The point is we all still use tools in the astral plane - the only difference is that we appear to make these tools with our minds directly. Does any one have comments on this?

Millions of people claim to have had near death experiences. With advances in medicine many people who have suffered clinical death are surviving and bringing back stories which are remarkably similar.  What more and more people are finding is that they leave their body and are able to view it and other people  nearby. There seems to be a pattern or progression of events. Here’s what you could expect to experience: You would start with the realization of being dead then you would experience a floating outside of your body and a viewing of your surroundings. This would be followed by a sense of peace and joy and the sensation of moving up a tunnel towards a blinding light. At the end of this tunnel you may meet dead friends or relatives. You might meet religious or spiritual figures or experience a review of your entire life. Then you would be returned to your body - generally most people are not happy about this but often they obtain a religious or mystical insight from the whole process.  After all that - does anyone have a comment on this?

It’s very difficult for many people to really believe in reincarnation - after all, how does one believe that we all have an invisible soul that leaves our physical body at death and somehow enters a new body at birth? We can’t see, hear, feel, taste or smell a person’s soul - but just a minute here, we are relying on physical senses to inform us on what exists or doesn’t exist. Remember, you can’t hear or taste light and you can’t see smell or taste sound. Your senses operate in a narrow range- you can’t see very much of the entire electro-magnetic spectrum, you can’t hear all of the possible sound spectrum, and as far as the senses of feel, taste or smell - they operate by actual physical contact with matter…so it’s possible that there are forms of matter that these senses cannot detect. So maybe the human soul does exist, it’s just that we can’t detect it with our senses. Whatever the truth is we would like to hear your comment.

There are a small number of people who can, at will, step out of their physical body and travel around in a “double” or duplicate body or “Astral Body” with their full conscious faculties intact. This is known as astral projection or astral travel and is also known as out-of-body experiences or (oobe or obe). Astral projection happens when your “Astral Body” or “double” moves out of coincidence with your physical body and walks or travels around.
